I'm so excited to share with you my first No Scraps Sketch Set!  These sketch sets are intended to help us work through our paper stash quickly and efficiently.  Each sketch set contains a cutting guide as well as 1 or more sketches that guide you in making a set number of A2 sized cards. And you will not have any scraps leftover!

The 6x6 No Scraps Sketch Set #1, helps you utilize your 6x6 patterned paper.  For each sheet of 6x6 that you cut using this cutting guide, you'll get 1 A2 sized card (4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches).  So if you cut one sheet, you'll get 1 card.  If you cut 10 sheets, you'll get 10 cards.

You can add cardstock matting to the card pieces if you choose.  Just keep in mind that you will have cardstock scraps leftover.  You can also embellish the card as much as you want.  My sketch is just a guide to use all of the 6x6 sheet that you cut with the guide.  You can use it as a base and add to it as you wish.

In this VIDEO, I show you how to use the sketch 3 different ways.

You can make the card with 1 single sheet of double sided 6x6 paper.  This gives you 1 card.

On this card I didn't use any cardstock mats and I mixed and matched the 2 sides of the one sheet.

If you'd like to add cardstock matting to the card, you will have some cardstock scraps but it does help the card to pop more.  In this example, I used some green cardstock to mat the pieces of a single sheet of double sided paper.

If you'd like to have more pattern choices on the card sketch, you can bring in additional sheets of paper.  In this example I used 2 sheets of double sided 6x6 paper and got 2 cards.

One additional benefit of these sketch sets is that it allows for no stress cardmaking as well as no scraps cardmaking.  The cutting guide and sketch take the stress out of trying to figure out how to cut down your paper and how to design the card.

If you like this type of cardmaking, please stay tuned for more no scrap sketch sets!

Happy crafting!

Beth
