Hello everyone!  I made a cute tag for my 2020 journal using the Let's Hang Out stamp set from Collection 2 of the June 2020 Flavor of the Month kit from Scrapping for Less. You can see the full process for this tag in my video HERE.

I have a journal that I've been documenting things that we've experienced over the last few crazy months and when I saw the sentiment in this stamp set, I knew I needed to add it to my journal!

I started by stamping the monkeys and monkey bars on some white cardstock. I used the stencil in the kit and some Mowed Lawn distress ink to create the grass. I used a finger blade to cut the middles out between a few of the monkey bars and then did some basic coloring on the monkey bars and the monkeys themselves.

I used the green leaf ribbon that came in the kit to weave through the openings I made between the monkey bars and then draped it down the side of the bars as well. I used a scrap of paper from the On the Playground collection for my tag base because I liked how the light blue looked a little like the sky in the background. I stamped my sentiment at the top of the tag and added angles on the top corners to give it that tag shape. I used the rest of the leaf ribbon at the top of my tag to finish it off. I think it's such a fun element to add to my journal!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed this little project!
